Fashion has shaped my creative journey for many years. Before designing eyewear, I designed garments, where I learned that every detail matters and every decision has a purpose.
As my career evolved, I was drawn to eyewear because, like fashion, it combines craftsmanship, proportion, and personal expression. A pair of glasses doesn't simply complement the face—it becomes part of the person wearing it.
One lesson from my years in fashion has always stayed with me. Before fabric is cut, it is laid face up or face to face, ensuring that its finest side becomes the visible expression of the finished garment. That simple yet meaningful process inspired the name Face Up Eyewear.
When the time came to create my own collection, I wanted a name that reflected both my fashion roots and my philosophy of design. Face Up represents craftsmanship, authenticity, and the belief that what we present to the world should reflect our best selves.
